Tips

  1. Use plain unsweetened unflavored probiotic yogurt for skin. Flvored and sweetened yogurt can irritate skin. Greek yogurt can be used.
  2. Place a plastic or metal strainer in your sink to keep the oats from clogging the drain.
  3. Do facial steaming before hand to open up pores, allowing the face mask to penetrate deep.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ground oatmeal
Directions
Wash, peel and puree 1/4 cucumber. Stir in the pureed cucumber in a small bowl containing 1 tablespoon yogurt and 1 tablespoon oatmeal. Mix well to form a smooth paste. Smear the mixture onto your face using clean fingertips. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes. When the time is up, rinse off with cool water. Pat dry.

Tips

  1. For best results use the apple and honey face mask when its freshly made. Refrigerating it before is not as effective as using it when it's fresh.
  2. Apply organic honey for skin to avoid skin irritations.
  3. Use organic apples to prevent penetration of toxic pesticides into your skin.
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 an apple
Directions
Cut an apple in half, remove seeds and blend into a puree. Add the apple puree into a small mixing bowl containing 1 tablespoon honey. Stir well. Slather the mixture onto yor clean face. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes. When the face mask has dried up, wash it off with warm water. Rinse with cold water. Pat dry.
